We've just been informed by a fan that Slingshot has been featured as a 'Hot Pick' in the popular Linux magazine ![[WWW]](http://wikispot.org/wiki/eggheadbeta/img/sycamore-www.png){kind=small}
Linux Format. The article is on page 75 (in the LXFHotPicks section) of the October 2007 edition, and Slingshot 0.8p is on the cover CD/DVD. 
14th of July 2007 - Bug Fix Release 0.8.1p
The first version of the game (0.8p) has been released and can be downloaded from the downloads page. This first version of the game features basic (but complete) gameplay. Later versions will extend the gameplay as well as add other features, details at the roadmap page, so stay tuned. Any feedback on this version is welcome, such that we can iron out any remaining bugs before the next release. Post your bug reports or other feedback here (bugs) and here (ideas / comments), respectively. :)
